Help for family and friends
Having someone to talk to can help when a person is thinking about seeking support for their hearing.

Begin with their own experiences
Ask which conversations or situations have become harder. Listen to the answer and avoid turning the conversation into a test. Offer your support and let the person set the pace.
Make the practical steps manageable
- Look for a hearing centre in an area that is easy to reach.
- Save a few relevant centres using the heart on their profiles. The list stays in your browser.
- Ask the centre about access, the assessment and any costs.
- Offer to come along and help remember questions if the person would like that.
Use Audivello together
Read the guides together and explore published contact details. Our reflection questions do not measure hearing or provide a diagnosis.
